MX-1 odd tempo signatures?
MX-1 odd tempo signatures?
I have a question to Aira MX-1 mixer users - can you set the sequencer to play only 7 steps, or 9 or basucally any between 1 and 16 ?
Re: MX-1 odd tempo signatures?
yes you can:
5. Hold down the CHANNEL SETTING [BFX] button and use pads [1]–[16] to specify the last step (the number of steps).
* The steps loop at the pad that you specify as the last step.
BUT, please be aware that it's only for mx1 seq. Let's say you have tr-8 linked to MX1, if you loop mx1 seq to 7 step for example, TR_8 will not follow this and continue

You can match the step amount on the tr8 with the last step button.
