System update for MX-1

It appears that the last update for the MX-1 was in Sep 2016. Does anyone know if they are working on any additional updates, or has the MX-1 been placed on the back-burner?

It seems like, for the Aria line, everything other than the System-8 have been mothballed. This is disappointing because the MX-1 had a lot of promise, but a lot of issues. Aria link turned out to be a joke which never delivered on the promises.
