MX 1 setup mode "fine" button?

In setup mode (hold gain whilst powering on.
What setting does the fine button adjust?
When pressed it shows ld 17 and can be turned up to ld 32.
I can't find any documentation that refers to this setting.

Should be the midi device id. you don’tneed to change it unkess you use more than one mx1 and some cases (sysex for example)
