E-4 Voice Tweaker as an outboard effect?

The Voice Tweaker box looks super cool!! Love the effects and the sound. Does anyone know if I can use it as an "outboard" effect box? I see it has an input and output port. Can I theoretically route audio from my DAW (like a vocal) and record the output? Would love to know if anyone has already tried this.

I was hoping the same, i could be wrong, but I believe it only mixes the input with the units output, no fx, nothing. All these units work the same regarding input from what I've seen. Shame really!
