New Front Panel Overlay coming for JD-XA

It's up to me to share my experience.
I've put my panels yesterday and all was ok.
My JD-XA is beautiful now and i can say i'm really happy for buying it.

Here is a photo of my JDXA with the "synthgraphics" panel overlay
and wooden sides that I created and placed over the red triangle shape.
I love how my JDXA looks now!

Placing the panel overlays were fairly simple.

Am currently happy with the factory look, but these do look good. Is that jupiter orange on the JP-8 style bar graphics or more JDXa red? Does it clash with any of the red being close but not red? Did you try the bar gfx in red?

Do they stick up above the surrounding casing by a mm or so? I can't tell from the photos, if so do they risk being damaged and cracked or filled with dust along the edges over the years?

Also do you have anyone in the UK who can stock these then ship them as with shipping + price it's hella expensive in total. Thanks!

The metal work of the JD-XA is about 0.5 mm taller than the main plastic panel surface. When you attach the overlay, the metal at top and bottom of the panel is still about 0.1-0.2 mm taller, so the overlay fits nicely there and there is no danger of you scratching the edges of the overlays. It is like it was designed for the overlay. Only the bender area overlay comes maybe 0.1 mm taller than the surrounding plastic, so I would not slide my hand too much over its front edge. Taking into account how I use my synthesizers, I will never have a problem. If somebody uses the synth roughly and is a real player, using the bender alot while leaning against the synth with the same hand, then it could wear out together with the natural wear of the synth's corner. There are small gaps between the overlays and close to the borders, and naturally they will start gathering a little bit dust, but it can be cleaned off. Much smaller issue than what the stock dust gathering surface has.
