With the NAMM pictures and the information they give I thought it would be nice to try to create a drawing of the JD-XA.
Hope you enjoy.

I hope the price won't become prohibitive...

Nice!
How long did it take to come up with that JD-XA panel graphic?
I really like the look of the new JD line.
I know some people on other sites have said its basically hideous.
When the SH-01 Gaia first came out I thought the black on it was going to be a High gloss Black like on the FA and new JDs. Roland chose to go with the faux metal brushed look, like they did on the SH-201, on the Gaia. It would have looked cooler to me with the high gloss black plastic. Oh well.
Many people complain the black gloss on the FAs gets finger prints on it, is that really a big deal?
I cannot wait to get more info and price point on the JD-XA at Musikmesse (fingers crossed).

Re: JD-XA dashboard
That is a good guess that the drums will be selectable via on of the four PCM/SN parts. I am curious how poly stack is going to work. Will the user be able to define the number of voices in a poly stack?

Re: JD-XA dashboard
This is just me having fun on April 1st.
I took the dashboard artwork that Tom_1970 created and made a mock-up of the JDXA in comparison to the JDXi.
Sizing is not based on real dimensions and it doesn't have all the pretty lights but i thought it would be nice to have them side by side.
Just for fun!
and thanks to Tom_1970 for the dashboard artwork, well done Tom, hope you don't mind me fooling around with your art work.
