I happened across this video on Youtube of Jacob Watters composing an extremely rich sounding music piece using the JDXA.

Fresh JD-XA video
Re: Fresh JD-XA video
Here's a video I made featuring the JD-XA. These are my own lead sounds. Please forgive any school boy errors - this is my first attempt at doing such a video! Hope you find it interesting.

Thanks for sharing Cello! Bravo :-) Your style is very peaceful and inspiring and it shows a totally new side of the beast. I like it. If you keep making these videos I may need to reconsider getting my old one back.cello wrote:Here's a video I made featuring the JD-XA. These are my own lead sounds. thanks for the kind comments - appreciated :)
@BakTerioN - welcome to RC!
@Synth Guru - this is one of the several reasons I wanted to do this vid. So many of the sound demos are of scrunchy synth sounds which of course the XA can do really well. However, it can do other sounds :) I like to use the XA to add a touch of sonic beauty to my tracks - just one note/one sound can melt around you (hence also the reverb). And it does it so well! Soundscapes and atmospheres and pads are all part of its repertoire too and that's what I hope to do on the next vid. Maybe you should just go ahead and get another one ;)

Nice sounds, it shows how versatile the JDXXA can be when someone gets in there and creates their own sounds.cello wrote:Here's a video I made featuring the JD-XA. These are my own lead sounds.
