Wondering if it's just me or does the JD-XA seem to have really loud 'clicky' ADSRs (ENV)? My old Jupiter-8 (RIP) had 'clicky' ENVs but not as 'bad', it's useful at times but what I don't like is a audible 'click' when playing sounds that fade in, and I really have to set the attack to about 5 in value (in the 0-127 value range - NOT 1/2 way up on the slider) before it goes away - the digital side does not have this click.
For example: Preset D-12 'LngSweepXnd' has a really annoying click at first before the sound comes in. Is it just my machine or do all JD-XA's do this? Just want to confirm it is normal or not?
Thanks in advance if anyone can confirm.
Overly 'Clicky' ADSR?
Re: Overly 'Clicky' ADSR?
Just tested both my XAs using D12 and can confirm presence of click on both, so would suggest that this is 'normal' behaviour.

Thanks for checking on this for me! It's not a big deal, just wanted to make sure it was 'normal'.cello wrote:Just tested both my XAs using D12 and can confirm presence of click on both, so would suggest that this is 'normal' behaviour.
