Pattern Sequencer Question

Hey all...I had a question regarding the pattern sequencer. I got my JD XA back in April, but due to work and family haven't had TOO much time with it, and that has been pretty painful, to be honest. lol

Well, I decided to play around with the pattern sequencer the other day, and to decent results, even. One small question, however. I laid the pattern out over 2 bars, and one of the notes comes up a little short (I didn't hold the key down long enough, and consequently it recorded the error into the pattern). This is to be expected, but I was wondering if this thing has the ability to edit midi note values from something menu-based? I couldn't make heads, or tails of what was in the manual as it really only shows you how to record and erase. I'm not sure I want to erase the note (as it is used a bunch throughout the pattern), and would like to lengthen the note duration in more detail.

Is this possible? If so, how (menu/button pushes, etc)?
