the new 256 patches... i've seen people say they were basically taken off the axial downloads.
is this true?
is there any way to know what axial sound collections roland used / didn't use in the new patches?
otherwise i am supposed to manually download and check them all?
i looked at the manual/parameter guide. there isn't a list or anything...
new update 256 patches
Re: new update 256 patches
Someone posted a Microsoft Excel file called "JDXA Programs 1.50.xlsx" a couple of weeks ago, which has the 1.50 JD-XA Programs listed in it. The Programs are numbered, and ordered by Bank, making it quite useful... for all of about 5 minutes. Don't get me wrong. It's a great looking document, and someone did a wonderful job of putting it together. I just didn't keep the 1.50 factory patches around long enough to get much mileage out of the list.
I just put a copy of that excel file into a dropbox folder here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/219 ... 01.50.xlsx
I believe every one of these Programs is available on the Axial site..
/mystery solved?

Re: new update 256 patches
Yer my advice is keep the original patches and load on the axials that you want. I honestly thought the original patches sounded better (1.5 pre-loaded sounds are cheap and nasty, not useable or inspiring), and having loads of blank patches let you explore the synth properly. "Gattobus" on youtube is having his covers patches uploaded to axial soon from what I hear - they sound awesome, worth checking out the vids.

old sounds before 1.5 update are found on facebook group, viewtopic.php?f=57&t=52204&p=295099&hil ... es#p295099

Is there a list of 1.50 sounds?
