Not a technical question, more one of preference. How do you guys organise your sounds on your JD-XA's?
Do you use the banks for each song? Or a bank for pads, a bank for saw leads, etc? Do you have 1 bank for making new sounds which you then copy into another bank, or just leave everything randomly scattered throughout all the banks? Do you all use a USB to double up the number of banks, or do people find 16x16 is enough?
I'm curious about how other people do this.

Re: Organising patches and banks (Personal preferences)
Bank A acoustic piano and guitar
Banks B and C pads
Bank D arps
Bank E leads
BANK F fx and experimental
Rest of the Banks are spill over banks for extra Pads and messing about with setting sounds.
I think thats plenty but I also have a USB stick in the back with all the other Roland sounds.
I like the fact that I can keep it simple and its not full of sounds I hate.

Any old order then set up favorites and write down the major ones.
Or go commando and don't save anything ...

Hold down the [Shift] button and press the [Program Select/Init] button. The INIT screen appears :)runningman67 wrote:Is there anyway of initialising a sound?
