I got my JD-XA at AU $2,699 when that was by far the cheapest price anywhere in AU and had been out for a year. I got my Toraiz SP-16 at $1,849 on the Pioneer wide 20% discount when a month later it was $1,799 without the 20% discount and then a further $200 cashback offer. I am too cheesed off to buy anything else, I keep feeling they are screwing with me. This highly volatile pricing is new to Australia and has nothing to do with exchange rates. Screw them!

I just bought mine, open box from a dealer with full roland warranty, for $1299 US. That is the proper price point for me, I couldn't have done $1799 US.
