Hey guys. Never needed to use program change on my JD-XA till today, and noticed it has it's own channel selector for the program change. Seems odd, but guess it makes sense for an 8 internal channel synth... Do most of you keep it on channel 16 or move it to channel 1 or something? Kinda feel like it should accept on any of channels 1-8 really, but I guess I see the benefit in singular channel.
Also noticed sometimes my JD doesn't play ball with changing programs via program change message either. Works fine for a bit, then just decides it doesn't want to do it for a bit, then decides it's fine again. Checked the device sending and it's fine on all my other gear, but can't imagine this is due to a faulty part inside my synth?
Program change has it's own channel?
