Sorry tried to make a screen recording and had problem. You need to turn off the midi port in fl studio then add the midi port for the jd-xi in the editor midi list.

Also to resolve the error. Double click on the plugin here and change it to a effect.

hi,

the VST doesn't work well on mine so I use the stand alone version.
Let me ask, how to get the current state of the knobs of the current sound?
It seems it doesn't update itself?

It does not update, yet. We are working on learning the scripting to update after everything loads or when a program or preset changes. It has been very difficult.

Hey memorysplice ,

I added the Receive channel, Part switch and Program Select to You're R6 Panel
I hope You check it, and add it to you're 'offcial' R6 version ??

I don't know how to switch from 1-16 in stead of 0-15 for the midi channel

And it seems there a bug in de JDXI to select prog EFGH..
I used the Sysex that the JD-XI sends when pushen the knobs, it's not from the Midi implementation.pdf

Anyway, Here You can find it:
So this way, You can layer the analog with the super natural parts...
if You set them to the same Midi Receive Channel..

It's maybe Like a Perfomance VS Patch on the JP8080.
The JDXi saves everything, including Rec Channel..

Does the Editor require a DAW or can it work as a standalone? Does it work with Logic or only Ableton?

I can't for the life of me get this thing installed...

Alright... for anyone coming into the thread late... if you're on OS X, just follow RSaintJohn's instructions. The "Please read first!" instructions are woefully inadequate and will only get you halfway there.

Also I had to turn on "Panel Lock", because at first the various virtual knob objects would move when I went to tweak them - since the adjusting motion is the same as a click and drag motion, it was just clicking and dragging the actual object instead of adjusting its value.

In any case, it seems to work now, and HOLY CRAP this synth is deep for the price! 2 digital voices with 3 parts each, an analog voice, all the x0x drum samples, a vocoder, 2 x 4 effects channels + 2 delays + 6 reverbs?

Thanks for the editor, and thanks to Roland for cramming so much fun into one little box!

Hi, I love this editor and it comes really handy - thank you. I have one question though - is the drum section blank and work in progress? At least I'm not seeing any parameters in that section.

Thanks a bunch!
