Re: Software Editor for JD-Xi alpha version

I installed a test copy of FL Studio 12 on my windows 10 partition and with no settings adjustments. I wish that I knew more about Fl Studio. "Ableton Live user"

It seems the plugin don't get the midi contact.
The stand alone has no problem, and is taking over the settings from the synth, but the plugin doesn't react.

Any advice how to setup in FL Studio?
I normally set on the MIDI tab at FL Studio the ports (in my case 3) to enable in and output and also the Mastersync.
Then In add the plugin and set on the settings panel the channel to 3 also.
Then I enter the plugin itself and try to connect it on your MIDI panel input and output but in both cases error.

You have to go to the midi tab in the plug in itself and pick your ports for usb either JD-Xi or MX1 and the usb port your are plugged into.

Do you have the driver installed and do you have your settings for the JD-Xi changed to output via the "vendor" driver in the settings?

Also on windows you have to disable the midi ports in fl studio because windows does not share midi ports. As for note data you have to feed the note data from another channel into the jd-xi plug in in fl studio.

Seems that is getting complicated.

Do you have a step by step list:
1. Install FL Studio
2. Install the plugin
3. what to do next?

I did read now, which might be not easy to understand for a not native English speaking person.

So I've downloaded the CTRL software and tried to load the DLL into this, but that doesn't work either.

Seems I'm lost somehow.

Please explain it like to a 5 year old child.

This weekend I will make and upload a youtube video on how to make this work. I am sorry I can not help you right now with the specifics. Windows does not let multiple software take control of a midi port at the same time. Turn off the port in FL Studio and you will have control of the mx 1 in fl studio. To get note data you have to route the note data from your midi track into the channel for fl studio.

I'm using the DLL version.
How to set it up?
What do you think should I adjust to connect the DLL Plugin to FL Studio?
If FL Studio is doing a deep scan on the DLL-Version it doesn't like to add it.
Maybe there anything missing to make FL Studio happy?
