When a user saves to a Favorite, the user is assigning a Program -- as it is saved in the banks -- to a Favorite button. Your problem is that you are changing the Program, but not saving your changed Program first.

From your video, here is what you are doing: You have a Program (say E01, with "SuperSaw" on D1), and you saved it to a button. That worked. Then you changed a tone in E01 by twisting the dial. That temporarily changed D1 to "Piano", but it does not change E01, not until you save/re-write it. So when you try to assign E01 (with Piano) to Favorite button #2, you are really just saving the original E01 (with SuperSaw) again.

It would definitely be nice if Favorites could save not just the current Program, but rather its current state. It would make it much easier and faster to test a Program with a bunch of variations, then you could save the best. But that's not how Favorites work. A Favorite button is simply a direct link to the Program as it is currently saved in the banks. And that's important for a live performance, because (generally), if you go to recall that Favorite, you want to load it "clean", regardless of whatever changes you are making on the board during performance.
