Speaking specifically about LFO now,
Anyway...can't seem to make the LFO sync with bars (beats)...it will sync with
tempo, that's not the same....in other words, I can change the tempo and
hear LFO changing speed, and being in tempo, but it seems do disregard where in the measure
you are. You can start the sequence and the LFO vs downbeat will be different often.
I've tried 'everything' to get this to work, running pattern sequence, or from DAW,
tried all different settings I could find.
so I'm wondering...
Can it even sync to downbeat?
Need to confirm it can't, or know how !

Oh yeah, I bought one (lol)
Then got an FA-06

resolved , mostly. This is issue with certain patches /configurations.
The set A01 D2 'scream at me' will behave this way on my JD. It will NOT
sync to the beat, but it WILL run at same tempo if set to tempo sync. (this was terribly confusing
and led me to doubt it's capability to be beat synced) However some other
patches do behave as expected and sync to beat.
So I'm happy to find that.
Now the only mystery is why does that patch behave so oddly,? can that be understood
for editing purposes?

Sounds like you are looking for the "Key Trigger" switch in the LFO section. When activated the LFO wave will start over from the beginning on each new note played.
