Does the JDXI have a metronome count in feature?

Metronome click with options, yes, but no count in. I suppose since it loops around, they decided it didn't need a count in.

Edit: it doesn't at the moment. At least there's no menu option that I can see on Firmware 1.5. I would like to hear if someone has it working, because it's a very useful feature.

Pressing two buttons and a chord at the same millisecond is impossible.

What you want is BIP-bip-bip-bip, BIP-bip-bip-bip and then record.

Option to continue clicking once you record because it can be in the way, f.ex. live recording .

It would be very nice if such a feature was added in Firmware 1.6 :)

Otherwise the JD-Xi has a very intuitive sequencer.

Is there some way to contact Roland and ask them to put this in for the next Firmware Update? Just bought the JD-Xa as well - it's a killer feature! Pretty hard to hit record and make the first note quantize to Step 1, and near impossible if it's a chord or even two-handed, or a simple note+knob tweak.

Bump that
Personally I have been looking for a start-record when play feature. Like how the Korg does it with the Volca (FM+Kick atleast), not to forget it is a different story with the Minilogue. These guys know how to make me frustrated...
