I use a Roland fa06 to play the JDXI. Using the fa06 pads I can select if I want to play the JDXI parts 1, 2 ,3 or all together with the drums. The problem is that the drum track is so much louder than the others. If I use a filter on the analogue part the drums totally drown out the sound. Is there any way to adjust the total drum output volume?

Change the Kit Level on the JD-Xi.

press Drums > press Menu > select 'Tone Edit' > press Enter > select 'Kit Level' > change the value with '+ or '-'

You can also alter volumes in the Menu > Program, that is also where you can specify Reverb and delay amount individually.
