Extending the length of pattern / LEMUR application

Hey guys, I bumped into this video - some guy extends the length of a pattern on Electribe 2 with a LEMUR app, which is quite similar to JD-Xi imo:

Anyone with more experience ever tried LEMUR with the JD-XI?
If JD-XI had 128 steps, it would be a killer.
