Driver won't install

Hi,

I am having trouble installing the jd-xi driver on my recently purchased 2017 macbook pro, in the sense that it doesn't install. The installation program indicates installation was successfull, but the jd-xi doesn't show up in the audio configuration, and cannot be selected in Ableton. I don't have a clue what I am doing wrong, as I never had any problems on my 2009 iMac. I have tried older driver versions but that didn't help either.

Some system info that might help point in the right direction:

- jd-xi running on 1.51, vendor mode
- MacOS High Sierra 10.13.3

Does anybody have any idea what I am overlooking or doing wrong? I am new to synths and ableton, so it is probably something pretty simple.

Try go to systems menu then change usb driver from "vendor" to "generic" (or possibly the other way)
