Mass deleting Patterns.

Post by glynbo »

Hi all,

Just got back into hardware after having to sell all my gear a couple of years ago due to family reasons. I have just got a JD-XI mainly as it is the baby brother to my old JD-XA and love the sound. Not to keen or worried about the inbuilt patterns A01 to E01, and would like to rebuild them with my own sounds and sequences. Is it possible to mass delete these inbuilt patterns.

Cheers,
Glyn.

I don't know if that is better than writing a default init type bin file and replacing the presets or if either is even possible. Otherwise I think you have to copy and paste a blank user preset in one at a time. I dont think there is a global bank wipe function. I've never seen that on any keyboard ever.
Thanks for the info mate, I have found the editor and have an experiment to see what is the best option. Cheers Glyn.
