Mac not seeing JDXi

Hi All,

I've installed the JDXi driver for my OS but when I click on the JDXi icon in System Preferences I get the message 'The device could not be found. This settings will automatically become effective when the device is connected the next time.' Set the synth to USB: Vendor, and turned everything off and on again umpteen times but still no go. I'm running Catalina 10.15.7 and the DAW is Reaper. The cable I'm using works with my Focusrite Scarlett Audio interface so logically it shouldn't be that!?

Please help - got some Beats desperate to get laid down! Thank you
