So according to the Roland website with the jdxi you can “perform a whole song live by saving your different song parts as separate patches, then assigning those to favourites. You can play those parts, switching between them as the song progresses”
So I’ve tried doing that, but the first beat drops out when changing from one favourite to another. That sounds pretty rubbish - what haven’t I done?

Had another play around since my original post. Interestingly with one tone midi sent to my Novation AFX, that plays fine with no drop out, but the jdxi still does it.
I created 4 simple drum & analogue programs & they link together fine with no drop outs.
Played the digital 1 tone of my original program live, & that still initially drops out on a favourite change.
Have an email conversation going on with Roland now & they are looking in to it…..
