SE-02 sequencer external keyboard to enter notes

Hi

Does anyone know how to use an external keyboard to enter notes in the SE-02 sequencer? I'm already using my keyboard via Ableton to control via USB, but would be nice to be able to enter notes rather than have to use the value knob that likely won't last too long at this rate.

One possible solution would be to buy a K-25m.

I found a bug, note can only be entered by standard midi connection but not via usb midi
