Bugs!

Post by Synthtron »

Anyone notice any bugs with their Boutique Synthesizers?
I have noticed something with my JP-08. Not sure if it is a bug but it caught my attention.

It deals with the indicator (small dot in the screen appears) that indicates you have made an edit.

Right after powering the JP-08 on select a patch and move a parameter. Both lower and upper edit indicators come on then select another patch and the lower edit led indicator stays on no matter how many other patches you select.

The only way to have the indicator go away is to select dual or a patch preset with dual (patch preset 5 and 7 are not dual) if you press the 5 or 7 Patch preset (which are not dual) the lower edit indicator LED stays lit.

Seems a bit strange to me, curious if anyone else noticed.

Somebody over at Gearslutz noticed in Sonicstate's review of the JU-06 that the PWM disappears when adding the sub on the JU-06, this can be seen/ heard at about 13:30 here:

Can somebody confirm if this is the case?
