I have started sequencing with the Boutique synths.
One issue that I came across that is a bit disappointing has to do with the onboard delay and MIDI Sync.
The Boutique synths have a function to turn sync on for external MIDI clock or internal clock.
A soon as you start your sequencer the onboard sequencer of the Boutique synths is triggered. You have to go into system settings and turn the external sync off.
Unless I am missing something, the Delay effect is NOT affected at all by incoming MIDI clock. That stinks! SO you cannot sync the delay to other sequencers.
I would rather have the delay effect sync to MIDI and nix the sequencer.
Boutique synths & onboard delay/MIDI sync
Re: Boutique synths & onboard delay/MIDI sync
Since you are working with Transport controls. Does the sequencer start if you select internal clock ? Roland confirmed for the TR8 the sequencer won't recognize an external START MIDI command w/o an MIDI external clock, even internal clock is selected.
