Thanks. Wouldn't be much to see - just my fat fingers on a tiny little keyboard lol! ;)

The achilles heel of the JX-03 is it only has 16 user patch slots. The JU-06 and JP-08 have 64.

And the real synth it's based off had 32 user slots. They should have made it 64. Hopefully they do it in a firmware update soon. I will likely buy it if they did that.

I thought the JP-08 has just 8 slots - the 64 are preset patches no? Or can you save the preset patches, thus altering the dual patches in the 8 slots? As for JX-03 you could have your patches actually saved in a different midi device that transmits all the details to the JX-03, so you can actually have kinda infinite patches, you just need a midi patchbay device of sorts.

Funny you said that..... I’ve got jx-03 finally. Dialed a simple sawtooth with filter at 11’o and resonance on 9’o. and jx-03 has a lot more bass and smoothiness in it compared to the same settings and sawtooth on jp-08 ... really couldn’t dial the same on jp-08... you have to have one to experience. The filter on jx-03 is much much smoother

the other day I was wandering through the music shop and saw this little Jx-03.
I found it so cute that I needed to buy and it makes really great sounds:

It's the synthy string sound that LFOs real slow in all my jam tunes I upload to soundcloud (unrehearsed, no editing, straight uploaded) along with a JD-XA, JP-08, and VP-03 vocoder (mainly using stock patterns so it's pure reaction jamming). I play a lot differently to how I write, I'll get something I've written put up soon (one with JX-03 heavy lines :D):
