Hi There,
I have a Mac running Cubase 8.5 and have both a JX-03 and a JP-08.I have both setup via midi cables and the audio out as I had loads of issues setting up an aggregate device and using the USB ports.
I now have both synths setup and running fine, though they both suffer from some latency. To correct this I use the individual track delay in cubase which gets the synth back in time with the rest of the track but it starts dropping notes in playback. If I get rid of the track delay the synth plays fine but it is out of time. I can resolve the issue by nudging the track forward a few 128ths on the timeline but as you can imagine this is very annoying.
Has anyone else had this issue and found a solution?
Cheers
Lex
JX-03 Latency compensation Issues
Re: JX-03 Latency compensation Issues
What are you using as an audio interface and what is your buffer size?
Re: JX-03 Latency compensation Issues
I have an Audiofire 12 (12 in 12 out) connected to my mac via firewire. Im only using 2 outs which go to the speakers and all the ins with various synths, 2 of which are the JX-03 and JP-08.
Im running at a 384 buffer size.
