JX-03 only works with chorus button on problem

Dear All

I have just spent three frustrating hours with my new jx03.

I am trying to set it up in ableton and having huge problems.

I thought I had finally sorted it only to find it only makes a sound when the chorus effect is turned on! As soon as I un select it all sounds stop.

I have the JX03 USB to PC and also MIDI in / out to Focusrite 2i4. Also audio out cable on JX03 going to Input 1 on front of 2i4.

Inside ableton I have ASIO driver selected and device set as Focusrite USB 2.0 Audio Driver.

I then have a midi track sending midi out to boutique and an audio track with Ext in. selected.

If i play keys then nothing, as soon as hit chorus button I get a sound, de press it and nothing, no input signal at all.

PLEASE help me as this is doing my nut in!

Reason is that, with chorus off, the same mono signal is sent on both channels. If you plug TRS jacks into your (balanced) interface TRS sockets then the inverted (same) signals are summed and cancel each other out.

Use a "TRS 3.5mm mini-jack to 2x TS mono 1/4" jacks" cable to connect your Boutique to your interface.
