Hi
I'm trying to help someone with 2 Boutique synths. He says the two installed Midi drivers have the same name "Boutique" so he can't distinguish between them.
It this true?
Can you install the drivers so they have a unique name ?
Thanks for the help

Re: Midi Driver conflict
Thanks CB.
I am amazed that you guys have let Roland get away with this.
The USB driver should interrogate the device and discover what it is and apply it's name to the driver Name.
Boutique-JP8 or Boutique-JX3 or even Boutique_1 and Boutique-2.
Even Behringer has a single Midi USB driver for all their Midi devices and if you have two BCR2000s it will call the Midi Ports as BCONTROL_1 and BCONTROL_2.
With so many of these add-on synths it is bizarre that they should release such a poor driver.
Time to speak up.
