Hi all,
I am new to this particular usage of MIDI, and I am trying it out with the JU-06 synth:
Basically, the idea is that you send [MIDI sync + Transport + MIDI notes] to a JU-06 from another MIDI sequencer's [MIDI out port].
The JU-06 seems to play the notes no problem, but then I find that the sync is not transmitting correctly from the [MIDI out port] of the JU-06 to another machine's [MIDI in port] in the chain.
1. Is this "thru" type of functionality supposed to work?
2. Is there a configuration for this particular behavior, or am I missing something obvious?
3. Does the JU-06 then pass it's MIDI notes out the the next device in the chain? If so, is there a way to disable that?
Thank you for any advice and/or help with these questions.
Please also let me know if I am being clear.

MIDI sync vs. MIDI notes
Re: MIDI sync vs. MIDI notes
I found that I am able to alleviate the problem by not chaining MIDI devices but buffering a single MIDI output from a MIDI input to multiple devices. Why this would work instead of chaining is what I am most curious about. Are there settings in the JU06 for specific MIDI configurations?
