Tr-09/-08 (2 assignable stereo outs via main out & phones)
Posted: 20:19, 28 December 2017
Hey hey, from what I have browsed through the topics here... I didn't see it mentioned. If so please remove this one and point me to the assigned threath then.
A suggestion for an update that has been bugging me for a while now...
Can The main and phone audio output function as 2 separate assignable stereo outs?
At the moment we have 1 stereo output.
And if we use the panning clever... we have 2 seperate mono outs.
BUT knowing there is another output available...
Can't we just make another stereo output from the phones output?
This way we can have
1 mono out (for example Kickdrum panned 100% left)
1 mono out (for example Snare/Clap panned 100% right)
1 Stereo out (for the rest of the sounds which are cleverly beeing panned
This just makes drumprocessing a more complete!
The original 808 had the key feature of having an output for EACH sound... So it would be more than normal to make use of a feature like this no?
The aira tr8 uses this feature tho...
(I am well aware that the use of multi chanels through usb is available. . . BUT this is only in daw use...)
