Hello everyone.
I've got a JX-03 and TR-08.
As i've got enough nice shielded mono eurorack 3,5mm patch cables,
I'd like to use those for connecting my audio setup with my boutiques.
Of course, only the "left" channel" is working like that, but that's all fine as I'm working only mono.
The essential question is: Can this harm in any way the equipment?
I know this makes a short circuit between mass and right channel: on the input as well as on the output.
Many devices have resistors on their ins and outs for decoupling and protection.
Some don't: like the Korg Monotrons for ex., it is going to harm the device, if you do!
Before you wonder why someone would like to do THAT???
Again, i've got plenty of very nice quality patch câbles at hand.
So it would be very practical for me to use only one kind of connections in a constantly changing setup.

It is safe to use either a stereo or mono 3.5mm cable with the Boutiques. You will not damage the units in any way doing so.
