TB-03 delay-tempo-sync problem

Hello, I just noticed that the automatic syncing of the delay time to the tempo on the TB-03 does not work if you use the tape delay setting. But it works with the Digi-delay.
This is annoying, also because, for reasons that I do not understand, the digital delay is only mono, while the tape delay echoes nicely in the stereo image.
My firmware is the last one, 1.06.
Has anyone else made this observation?
Is that different in an older firmware?
