JX-08 Receive program change from DAW

I'm not having luck figuring out how to properly send a program change to my JX-08 from Reason (10). I've got three other hardware synths I can do this with (MicroKorg, monologue and MicroFreak). I had to do some trickery for the MF due to it having more than 128 patches. That workaround is detailed here - https://forum.reasontalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=7502360. Reason seems to be sending something, but if I just send a simple program change, it does a weird thing where it will skip to random patches instead of incrementing by one (i.e. If I start on A11 and increment in Reason one patch, it will jump to B42). Anyone experience something similar? Also, I did update firmware on the unit last night to 1.02, which is current.

This turned out to be caused by having the global midi channel on the unit set to the same channel as Part A. Doh. Hope this helps someone else out.
