JD-08 usb audio (solved)

Edit: I got it working, even through my cheap unpowered USB hub. Now I’m trying to figure out how to make two layers play at once.

Hi my PC recognizes the JD08 over USB for both midi and audio. I have succeeded in getting midi in and out but not the audio. Are there any settings or any tips anyone has? I’ve never done USB audio before so I might be doing something dumb.

In audacity I can set the audio source, when I select my audio interface audio comes through, but when I select the JDO8 I get nothing even though I try different options ( I can do layerA, layerB or Mix but none of them produce sound.
