JD-08 Delay Effect Does Not Work As Expected Please Help

Honestly, the Delay effect is driving me f****** insane.

All I want is my Left/Right delays to sync to the tempo of the note I select, like the Center delay does. However, no matter what note I select, after the first instance of feedback, every other "echo" sounds at a tempo of 1_4t.

For example,
with L.Syn = ON, L.not = 1_2
and C.vol = 0, R.vol = 0, L.vol = 60
I play a single note
the first "echo" starts at 1_2 as expected
then after that, it acts like it's set to 1_4t

If L.Syn is set to 1_4t or faster, then it behaves as expected.

Makes no sense. Am I doing something wrong? Is this a bug?
I can't imagine this is how it is supposed to be. Left/Right tempo sync delay is useless if that is the case.

If my explanation isn't good enough I will make a video to show.
