Crackles and mishaps in Ableton

Hello.

I'm running the tr08 and the ju06a via usb into Ableton 11. MBP 2.9 ghz, 16 gig memory, Presonus audiobox interface. All fine and dandy for a good amount of time, but then, as the system 'warms up", 30 minutes into a good jam session, the TR08 starts to crackle. If I then go into the Ableton preferences and switch the buffer size, up or down, and then put it back where I had it (256), it stops glitching out, and I can go on for another good while. If I pause it and start again, then the crackles start.Not sure what could be happening.

I'm also finding that whatever delay compensation or hardware latency I have to add within Ableton (which is the clock master) in order to match the tempos, drifts a bit and I'm having to adjust this as I go. I'm prepping for a live show and need to iron out this issues.
