TR-06 volume still audible when knob is turned down

Occasionally I’ve noticed some sounds are still faintly audible even when the instrument knob is all the way down. I’ve noticed this on the hihats. I may have read somewhere that this happened on the original 606. A bit odd or authentic to the original?

I am using a Boss RC202 as my midi master for tempos; so possibly some midi information bugging the TR.
