jd/jx for ambient?

Hello i am looking for a synth that allow me to do this kind of music

So i was thinking to jd08 or jx08
Of course there is sh4d , but i wouldnt mind to go chepaer with jd/jx
What's your suggestion?
I want to have a tool which i can work standalone with it with possibility to have a deep tweaking creating sounds; may be later finish with daw
