128 new patches for SRX-04 Simphonique Strings

Post by revive »

I saw a zip file containing 128 new patches for SRX-04 Simphonique Strings:

http://www.fantomized.info/?p=roland

I tried to upload this to Fantom X librarian software, but I couldn't because it's a Fantom S librarian file (FSL file not FXL).

I went to Roland's website but I can't find any posting of these new patches (FSL or FXL). Does anyone know how to convert this into FXL file? Or does anyone actually has the FXL version of these new patches? THanks!!!

You have to open the .FSL file in a text editor, locate the string "FSL" and change it to "FXL". Then save this file and now it should open in the librarian.

Hi Art,

-I opened the file using Notepad
-I looked up for 'FSL' but didn't find it
-On the top of the file, I found 'FantomSLibrarianFile' and changed it to 'FantomXLibrarianFile'... don't know if that matters
-Then I saved the file as an FXL file

The FX Librarian still can't open the file. What do you think Art?

If this FSL file can't be converted into FXL file, is there a way to get around it so I can open the patches in a Fantom X?
Maybe if somebody (an FS user) can create the SVD file, I can use the SVD file in my FX?
