Could anyone tell me if there is any PC based patch editor for FA76?

Fantom FA76 Patch Editor

Post by Schorsch »

Hello,

it seems as if there is no PC patch editor available for the FA76. I have asked Roland's support department, they have done some searches in the net but have not found anything. Just the XV editor, which will provide librarian functionality to the Fantom, but no editing.

If you have found an editor for the FA76 please let us know.

FA76 is esentially a XV5080 in keys so my guess is that XV editor/librarian is compatible .
Try that program if you can install one.

Did anybody ever attempt to use the XV editor w/the FA76? I just bought an FA76 and have a ton of splits to create for playing live.

Guys, FA-76 has a large screen, and all sound editing can be done there. Why in the world do you need a software editor?

Because it's easier than all of that button pressing to get back and forth. The FA76 doesn't have all of those nice shortcuts the Fantom X has.

I was looking for an editor/librarian for my Fantom FA76 and downloaded the latest version of the XV Editor v1.57 today. I am still testing, but it looks promising. No glitches so far and there is a separate Fantom checkbox when specifying the model of synth you are editing. I'll check out the editing side of things later this weekend and report back. So far, so good ...
