Classic "hoover" sound
Classic "hoover" sound
Why is it called that? My vacuum doesn't sound like a "hoover" patch!! ;-}
Re: Classic "hoover" sound
Why an "electric piano" like Rhodes or Wurlitzer has a word "piano" in them? They do not sound like a piano.

The patch was called "What the?" and was on the Alpha Juno 2.
Re: Classic "hoover" sound
It was created by Eric Persing, then chief designer at Roland Japan, now the main head of Spectrasonics. Maybe we could e-mail him and ask

If you're into sound design it's pretty cool how it was made. You can find some more info here.

Then of course, if you already have the Juno-G, it's in there with a few flavors.

Re: Classic "hoover" sound
You built your own pipe organ out of wood!? Madman.
LOL, that doesn't sound anything like a hoover or a vacuum. I get where you're coming from tho.
