For impatient: A-Man's FS Bank vol. 02

Post by Artemiy »

I've decided not to wait till Monday and annouce this today - for impatient.

So, here are my next 16 patches.

This time you'll get my very best synth bass sounds. Some of them (like "MG Drop Bass" and "JP8 Seq Bass") are really great (at least for me :-P).

Say the following in your best voice for the teacher from South Park.
Now class, lets all say it together, “Thank you, Artemio.”
Mr. Hand is now giving you a virtual job.

:-)

Don't say "thank you" before you try them out! Maybe they're all crap :-P

Well, I doubt that is the case. Even if that is the case I appreciate the effort.

OK, I tried them out, both banks 01 and 02, and I can now officially say THANK YOU. All along I thought that you and I would have similar tastes and I am glad to see that this is the case.
By making little examples of each patch in the sequencer I think that you also help to open up the imagination. While listening to the sequence I was thinking to myself how this was kind of like listening to patches on a Korg with the arpeggio for each different patch turned on and getting a little better idea of how each patch could be used.
Way cool!

I must check your patches, on my agenda towmorow evening.

By the way Art you should group all your patches alone in one bank.

Thanks, James! I'm really glad you liked my sounds, this is great! I'm planning to release more and more.

Steph, no, joining in one bank is a very bad idea. I'll tell you why. Say you have my 5 banks of 16 patches. Then you get a new one and you know that all 16 patches are unheard and new for you. But if I assemble 120 patches in one 1) I won't be able to release new banks that soon 2) it would be hard to find new patches if you got this banks with 100 patches and then with 120 patches (20 added). I hope you got my idea. Also, how would you listen to 120 demo phrases? This would take a couple of hours.

Keeping the sounds in separate banks give me the ability to create banks that contain similiar, categorized types of sounds. Like synth bass, retro synth, pads. I can release one pack in a short while and you'll always know that these sounds are new for you.
