MIDI CLOCK to Roland JV1010
Hi, can anybody write down to this forum syssex message F0.... for JV1010 to switch on recive MIDI CLOCK from another MIDI Instrument to MIDI IN of JV1010.Or recommend me some freeware editor for JV1010 which works with Windows XP.Thank you very much

This post is 7 years old, and it's in the wrong sub forum, the OP is gone, so sorry to bump, but there is a way to do this on at least some JV-1010s. Send it these two midi strings a beat or more apart:
F0 41 10 6A 12 00 00 00 0C 01 73 F7
F0 41 10 6A 12 03 00 00 48 01 34 F7
You have to resend it every time you change a patch, but it works on my JV1010 with the serial number DP43xxx. I have tried to get another one and found that this does not work on ones I've tried with earlier serial numbers, even if they have the same ROM version 1.02. Still trying to find another JV1010 that will respond to this sysex message.. Source.
