Sh-32 midi problems

HI there !
Didn't know where else to post this, since the SH-32 isn't listed
on the other Roland forum, so i put it here.

I just got me a SH-32, so far it's pretty cool.
However i am experiencing some midi/record problems.
I'm hooked up to my PC,winxp, thru a Tascam-US-144,(usb).
Also using cubase 4LE ,plus others.

Problem is i can't seem to get sound from the sh-32 to my pc.
midi ports are connected correctly.
Does it matter which mode im in?
I have the "Bulk Dump" set to on, don't know if that helps.
I've tried "patch" and "performance" mode to no avail.
I've also tried a M-audio midisport also usb, same problem.

So i'm thinking its the sh-32, also there is a headphone jack
on the Tascam, when im connected thru the midi ports i get no sound from the headphones jack, but when i connect with the line in/out i can get here sound on the headphones.

Is there a transmit setting on the sh-32 ?
I bought this on ebay, so am thinking previous owner might have change some settings on the midi channels.

The 'IN' midi port seems to work fine, solid green led on the Tascam, it's just the 'OUT" port that s not working, flashy red led.
Could some one please help?

I have a similar issue. MIDI In will not trigger any sounds, but MIDI Out works fine.

Same problem here, I have no sound coming out but I can see that midi messages are receive by the SH2. Do you guys manage to solve it ?
