hi there everyone,
I'm trying to repair an ep-7ii, after it blew its power supply fuse, and melted out a bit of the ribbon cable from the power switch board to the volume board. wired in new cable there, checked all capacitors and solder joints, nothing else seems out of place. So, after replacing roland power supply fuse, power it on, LED lights for moment then dies. Fuse blown again.
Next, tried another power supply (with adequate current), except now the i power it on the LED flashed on and off slowly. This puzzles me, as one side of the led leads to V+, and the other to what seems to be the ground on the main board.
Does anybody have any hints or secrets that might help with this at all?
I would be also interested in a schematic of the keyboard.
kindly
Henry
