Hi I am a newbie to recording midi and I think I am getting confused. I have a Roland Juno-D synth with an external UA-4FX interface.My recording software is Sonar Le. I have managed to create an instrument definition for my synth and apprears to be okay (i think). When I record a different bank and patch in tracks 1 and 2 these only playback in solo mode. If I try to playback both at once i hear 2 different instruments. I set my synth to Tx on channel 1 and Rx on channel 2. In Sonar I set the input to channel 1 and the output to channel 2.
Also when Sonar opens up do you see 16 channels or are they tracks?
HELP CONFUSED.
