Edirol by Roland PCR-300

Post by misha47 »

Hello. I have Windows 7 (64bit) and 4 gigs of RAM and I'm using Cakewalk Sonar 8.5. When I record my PCR in Sonar, it lags, or delays the keystrokes which delays the recording and makes it impossible to use the way I want.

Also Im still having trouble getting all the buttons/knobs working with Kore player.

thanks.

Be sure to use the latest Roland PCR-300 drivers that are specific for your operating system version.
(I have been pleasantly surprised at the legacy gear Roland still supports with updated drivers!!)

Also, you may need to tinker with the latency adjustments in Sonar -

I was having the same issue using a PCR-M30 with Sonar X1 running on Windows XP.
A few latency adjustment tweaks in Sonar made a HUGE difference in performance! :)

The Cakewalk user forums might be another good place to discuss the mapping issues with Kore player.
Since' it's a "freebie", I don't think you can expect much in the way of tech support from Native Instruments.
